Pre-Treatment
- Discontinue topical retinoids, AHA/BHA chemical exfoliants, and benzoyl peroxide products 3 to 5 days prior to treatment.
- Avoid facial waxing, thread epilation, or invasive laser resurfacing procedures for at least 5 to 7 days before your appointment.
Post-Treatment
- Do not wash your face, apply cosmetics, or engage in activities inducing heavy diaphoresis (sweating) for exactly 6 hours post-treatment.
- Commit to daily application of a broad-spectrum medical SPF 50+ sunscreen and aggressively avoid direct thermal or solar exposure for 48 hours.
- Refrain from using chemical exfoliants, granular scrubs, or acid-based serums (such as Glycolic or Salicylic acid) for 5 days.
