Pre-Treatment
- Wash the hair and scalp thoroughly with a neutral pH shampoo on the morning of the session; do not apply any oils, leave-in conditioners, hair sprays, or styling gels.
- Discontinue high-dose anti-coagulants, aspirin, or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) 3 days prior to reduce the risk of micro-bleeding and localized bruising at the injection sites.
Post-Treatment
- Do not wash the scalp, rinse the hair, or apply any chemical topical formulations for a strict minimum of 24 hours post-treatment to maintain aseptic micro-channel closure.
